Hi there! Thanks for stopping by.
I'm Denise, a 2011 graduate of The Art Institute of Phoenix in graphic design. The lovely lady next to me above is the late, great Rubie, our rescued Doberman.
This is where I get a moment to tell you a little about me. The following is actually about me, not just the companies I've worked with or the projects I've completed.
Stick with me, I'll keep things brief.
Currently I live in Litchfield Park, Arizona but am a native of Cleveland, Ohio (go bucks). I'm different than most designers because I have years of work experience prior to my graphic design work. I have been in sales, customer service, hospitality and the medical field to name a few. What this means is that I understand the other side of the fence. I understand practicality, the different demographics you may be trying to reach and, most importantly, I understand what it is like to be the client working opposite the designer.
I have a lot of passions in my life but the biggest of them are our four-legged kids. Not only do we have 3 beautiful Dobermans but, I have also been active with Arizona's only 501c3 Doberman rescue, Desert Harbor, for over 5 years. I have served as their event coordinator in the past and currently work as volunteer designer and photographer. To find out more about them visit: azdoberescue.org
Besides my dobergirls, photography and cars take the next two of my top three spots in life. Not surprisingly, much of my photography is animal related and if you sift through my portfolio you will find several projects relating to them. I'm also a Volkswagen girl and have a, work in progress, '88 Cabriolet (rabbit convertible) that likes to test my patience and love of cars every time I work on her.
There you have it. I do appreciate you taking the time to stop by. I hope what you see leads you to contact me. I'd love to meet and look forward to working with you!
- Denise
